Newcastle's Carabao Fairytale, Liverpool Didn't Want It, Man United's New Circle of Hell

A No Nonsense Podcast - Football Episode 249

The 70 year "curse" has been lifted as Newcastle finally win a domestic trophy. And all it took was the wealthiest owners in sports history.

Eddie Howe's team looked much more up for it as they cruised to victory in the Carabao Cup final over an increasingly tired looking Liverpool team who just a few short weeks ago were on course for the illusive quad.

A big week for Big Dan Burn as he is the unlikely hero in the final and gets an England call up.

Elsewhere in the news, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Man United's PR masterclass continued, this time with the announcement of a new state of the art devil inspired stadium plans to replace Old Trafford. The plans were unveiled by Gary Neville, just days after we were told in an interview with Gary Neville that the club is perpetually minutes away from going bust.
